Hello, my name is Karen Renner and I am a photographer who resides in St. Louis, MO.

For the last ten years, I have been taking photos of families, children, and high school seniors around St. Louis. I love capturing the purest smiles with backgrounds that look like watercolor freshly dried on canvas. An urban setting is also always a favorite background choice, too. Capturing a scene with city brick or a storefront window gives a feeling of my subject being out and about on the town. In addition, through my various travels across the United States, Europe, and even Japan, I have found magic by capturing everyday scenes of these far away places. The prints tell stories of times when the breeze and sunlight were just right as I strolled down narrow streets or sipped coffee at a local cafe. Some prints are intended to be paired, and some tell the best story when they are simply alone.
